A suspect wanted in an armed robbery Thursday night was arrested a few hours later at a local bar.

At 11:10 p.m. Thursday, police were notified a man armed with a knife had demanded money from an employee at the Marathon convenience store on Waynetown Road.

“The clerk complied,” Crawfordsville Police Chief Kurt Knecht said. “The male subject got an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.”
