Ladoga next for LWV program

Waynetown, Darlington and Wingate residents have been able to improve their towns through a League of Women Voters program. Now it’s Ladoga’s turn with a Build a Better Community program meeting on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Ladoga Elementary School cafeteria.
Waynetown was the first community sign up for the League’s Build a Better Community program. As a result of three meetings conducted by the League, Waynetown obtained a 501c3 designation from the Internal Revenue Service. The 501c3 opened the door for Waynetown to receive a grant that made its new water tower possible, recalled League President Virginia Servies.
