100 Years of Votes For Women — 6:30 p.m. Aug. 26, 2019, (Women’s Equality Day), at Pike Place. State Rep. Sharon Nagle (R-Attica), author of the bill creating the Women’s Centennial Commission, will speak, as well as Crawfordsville Mayor Todd Barton. Groups or organizations present will be invited to speak a sentence or two about how having legal equality has shaped their lives. Music also will be part of the event.
