Strawberry Festival

The annual Strawberry Festival opens today and continues through Sunday with vendors, food and plenty of entertainment on the grounds of Lane Place.

Friday night’s headliner is the country band “Ricochet.” Ever since 1996 when the group watched its debut single “What Do I Know” rise to the top 5, “the hardest working band in country music” is still going strong. They log thousands of miles on the road each year to bring their distinctive musical style to audiences of all ages across the U.S. and abroad. They’ll take the stage at 8:30 p.m.

Saturday night will see a change of pace. Those present will experience the excitement of the award-winning Neil Diamond tribute artist Denny Diamond. He performed an exceptional high-attendance 89-city U.S. tour, “Neil Diamond Story” in 2015 and 2016 and received critical acclaim and positive reception at each venue. Plan to arrive early to get that perfect seat for his 8:30 p.m. performance.
