Hoosier Heartland State Bank added two new directors to its board. Kelly Taylor, executive director of Montgomery County Community Foundation, and Mitch Allen of Allen Truck Sales in Crawfordsville joined the HHSB team at their February board meeting.

Among their many responsibilities at HHSB, Taylor and Allen will work with the current board members in setting the strategic direction of the bank. They are also tasked with management oversight as they work to further the mission, vision and values of the organization.

Taylor has been employed by MCCF for 18 years while serving as a director for the last seven. She is married to local attorney Dan Taylor and they have two children, Maggie and Lillie.

“Kelly has such a tremendous love of our community,” said Brad Monts, president of HHSB. “She brings a great deal of experience and leadership to our board. HHSB is a great bank and we just got better!”

Allen is married to Brandy Allen and they have two children, Hayden and Harper. He is owner of Allen Truck Sales, Crawfordsville.

“We are very excited to have Mitch join our board,” Monts said. “He knows how difficult running a business can be but also what it takes to be successful. He will be a strong advocate for our local business community.”

Taylor and Allen join the current board of directors: Trey Etcheson, Brad Monts, Mike Hartley, Brian Buck, Bob DeVault, Pat Sosbe, Larry Smith and Dave Rhoads.
