Henthorn, Harris Weliever & Petrie P.C. attorneys at law announce the recent addition of Crawfordsville native, Jacob Moore, to its team.

“Jacob passed the bar examination in 2016 and we hired him once we had an opening for an associate. He will be a valuable addition to our staff,” said Stu Weliever, partner at the firm. “We are pleased to have him here.”

After graduating from North Montgomery in 2007, Moore went on to Wabash College where he earned his bachelor’s of arts degree with a major in political science and a religion minor. He then earned his law degree at McKinney Indiana University School of Law. Moore’s experience includes being one of 12 selected nationally by the Anti-Defamation League to participate in its Campus Leaders Mission to Israel and working for the Moore Family Tree Farm.

“It’s great to live and work in Montgomery County and join such an outstanding firm,” Moore said. “Now I can take the knowledge I’ve gained and do my part to give back to the community that gave me so much growing up.”

“We are extremely pleased to have Jacob join our practice. In addition to his excellent academic credentials, Jacob has a great work ethic and deep roots in Montgomery County,” said Daniel Petrie, partner at the firm. “We are very pleased that Jacob has chosen to practice law in his hometown, and are confident that he will not only be an excellent lawyer, but will also contribute his time and talents to the betterment of our community.”

Moore can be contacted at jamoore@henthornlaw.com or 765-362-4440 or visit www.henthornlaw.com.
