The Montgomery County United Marching Band and Guard will have a block party 5-9 p.m. July 19 at Pike Place to kick off the summer competition season. 

The block party is free to the public to attend and will include live music, food trucks, ice cream, a raffle, games, merchandise and more. The MCU marching band and guard will also debut their 2019 state fair program “Pegasus” with shows at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

MCU also has a car wash scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Christi Hubler Chevrolet, 1705 Lafayette Road. The cost is $10 for a car wash and proceeds support the Montgomery County United Marching Band and Guard.
