CHS Robotics Team Visits Kiwanis

Darrin Wilcoxson, advisor for the robotics teams at Crawfordsville High School, brought three of his students and one of their robots to the Crawfordsville Kiwanis meeting. The robotics program was started in 2007 at the high school by Wilcoxson and the Crawfordsville schools are now teaching robotics to children in second grade and above. It was interesting learning from these high schoolers talking to the club about robotics and using terms that nobody in the club had ever heard before. Wilcoxson leads the students by letting them determine what they want the robot to do and lets them figure out ways to make it happen.
