Dorma Lee Finch of Crawfordsville died at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday in her home following a short illness. She was 58.
Mrs. Finch formerly worked for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service and H&R Blcok in Crawfordsville. She was a director of a Crisis Pregnancy Center in Colorado, and along with her husband, David was director of Manna Mountain Mission in Colorado. She had also done missionary work in Costa Rica, Belarus, Ethiopia and Ukraine.
She was a member of the Christian Union Church in Waynetown. She was a graduate of Waynetown High School and Kentucky Christian College with a bachelor’s degree in theology.
She was born July 20, 1953, at Fort Eustis, Va., to the Rev. Dorman and Carolyn (Foxworthy) Winger. She married David Finch on Sept. 17, 1972. He survives.
Other survivors include: her parents, the Rev. Dorman and Carolyn Winger of Crawfordsville; sons, Nathaniel and Benjamin Finch of Moberly, Mo.; sister Tonya Wilhite of Darlington; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for noon Friday at Christian Union Church, with the Rev. David A. Finch and the Rev. Dorman Winger officiating. Burial will be at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. Friday at the church. Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown, is handling the arrangments.
Sister Starla Jo Ellis is deceased.
