On Sunday, July 28, 2019, Patsy Jim Rudy Pattison passed away at the age of 87.

Patsy was born Dec. 16, 1931, at Danville, Illinois, to James and Iris (Lewis) Rudy. After graduating from Crawfordsville High School in 1949, she married Myron Terry Pattison, a graduate of New Ross High School. They shared 60 years of happiness before his death in 2010. They raised four children, James (Carol Proctor), Michael (Beth Ann Chastain), Randy (Lisa Seiber) and Dianna (Stanley Feldman). They also have 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Patsy had a passion for handwork, including knitting, ceramics, cross stitch, crochet, macramé and porcelain dolls. She not only made her own clothes, but her own wedding dress, as well as for her daughter and daughters-in-law. She and Myron also loved to refurbish homes. Music and acting were always her passion, from a drum majorette in high school, to Wabash musicals, to her final performance of Hello Dolly at Vanity Theatre in 1998.

Patsy was compassionate in her desire to help others. She was a long-time member of the United Methodist Church in Crawfordsville and was very involved with United Methodist Women. She was also involved in the Thrift Shop Endowment Fund, P.E.O. sisterhood, the Pattison Scholarship through the Montgomery County Community Foundation and the Pattison Pavilion located on the grounds of Lane Place.
