Gerald Lee Snodgrass, 50, of Bloomingdale, Indiana, passed away Friday, Sept. 27, 2019, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis

He was born March 26, 1969, at Clinton, Indiana, to George and Mavis Moehring Snodgrass.

Gerald was a 1988 graduate of Turkey Run High School and he was a machine operator at Baird’s Sawmill. He enjoyed cooking, playing Palladium and Pathfinder with friends, being outdoors and spending time with his family.

On Oct. 30, 1998, he married Crystal Hammonds at Turkey Run State Park, and she survives.

Also surviving are children, Dakota Turner, Kirsten Turner, Justin Turner and Tyler Wells. Gerald has two granddaughters, Layton Turner and Aurora Blacketer and two grandsons, Karson Blacketer and Kolton Blacketer.

Also surviving are sister Karen (Mike) Crooks; brother Brian Snodgrass; three brothers-in-law, Jason, Thomas and Gary Hammonds Sr.; six nieces; four nephews; four great-nieces; three great-nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law; and a sister-in-law.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 at Barnes and Rice Funeral Home, Rockville, Indiana. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Cremation has been chosen.
