Carol Stoddard passed away peacefully in her sleep with her husband by her side on Aug. 6, 2019, at Ben Hur Health Care.

She was born Feb. 4, 1930, at home, in Waynetown, to Keith and Sarah Barricklow.

She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Stoddard of Crawfordsville. She is also survived by daughter Sherry (Bret) Smith Priebe; son Charles (Debi) Stoddard; step-daughters, Sandy (Rick) Dossett, Judy (Walter) Redmon and Kim (Mike) Perkins; grandchildren, Sarah (Shaun) Stoddard, Jason (Brandy) Redmon, Jamie (Chris) Wimberly, Jennifer (Zach) Smock, R.J. Mason, Jessica (Tyler) Greene and Chase R. Stoddard; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She grew up in Waynetown, graduating from Waynetown High School. She worked at the local pool as the basket girl, was a Girl Scout leader, and taught home economics to many students. In Crawfordsville, she was employed by Hooks Drug Store, Sommer Metalcraft and helped with the family landscaping business. She was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church and worked with many children at Faith Bible Camps.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by sister Leah Switzer; step-daughter Terry Stoddard; grandchild Christopher Stoddard; husband of Judy, Walter Redmon Jr.; and husband of Sandy, Rick Dossett.

Burial will be at a later date.
