Jerrold “Jerry” Ray McCutchan, 67, of Crawfordsville passed away at 1 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019, in his home, with his wife by his side.

Jerry was born Dec. 3, 1951, at Crawfordsville, the son of the late James Robert and Ruth Irene (Wilson) McCutchan Sr. He was raised in Veedersburg and attended Fountain Central High School. He had lived the past 20 years in Crawfordsville.

Jerry formerly worked as a salesman and manager of Spurgeon Auto Sales in Crawfordsville.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army. At the time of his honorable discharge, he had attained the rank of Private First Class. He was a former member of the Eagles Lodge in Crawfordsville. He enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Linden Conservation Club and enjoyed shooting skeet.

On Dec. 14, 1988, Jerry married Beverly R. Snyder in Nashville, Tennesssee.

He leaves behind his wife, Beverly of nearly 31 years, along with a daughter, Tonya (Jason) Pritts of Burnettsville, Indiana; four sisters, Jacque (Dan) Wilson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Janet (Glen) Bowles and Jane Hill, both of Attica, and Juanita Story of Terre Haute; grandson Alex (Summer Young) Albee and granddaughter Karlie Albee; step-granddaughter Maggie Pritts; and great-grandson Hunter Albee.

He was preceded in death by son Jay McCutchan; and step-son Michael Tolliver.
