The Saints re-signed linebacker Chase Hansen. The team waived Hansen, along with running back Martez Carter and tight end Jake Powell on Friday. But now the team is bringing him back. Hansen, who played at Utah, was one of the undrafted free agents the Saints signed after the draft.

Hansen played safety his first three seasons at Utah before switching to linebacker as a senior. He was selected to the All Pac-12 team and was a second-team All American after recording 114 tackles and a conference best 22 tackles for loss as a senior in 2018.
