Richard Dale Cook, 89, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024. He was a resident of Ladoga.
He was born March 9, 1935, in Kenton County, Kentucky, to Jesse C. and Mamie Lee (Cope) Cook. He married Cora Loraine Keller on Aug. 25, 1957, at Crawfordsville.
Survivors include his wife, Cora Cook of Ladoga; three daughters, Madonna Fisher of Ladoga, Trina Leonard (Chip) of Crawfordsville and Michelle Simpson (Audie) of Crawfordsville; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jim and Clifford Cook; and son Roger Cook.
Dale was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving from 1952 to 1956. He was a proud member of the VFW, American Legion and Ladoga Nazarene Church. He was also a member of the Moose, Eagles and Elks. He enjoyed spending time with his family. His hobbies include woodworking and listening to gospel and country music.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. April 28 at the Old Normal in Ladoga, with Dave Bower officiating. Family and friends are welcome from 2-5 p.m.
