Hoosier Heartland State Bank is proud to offer a full-time position to college intern Will Rood. He stepped into the position of IT systems and support analyst today.

“Will has already made a lasting impact on our team during his internship and I couldn’t be more excited that he is joining the HHSB family to start his career,” said Blake Zachary, vice president of IT at HHSB. “His technology aptitude is unmatched and his desire to learn and grow will be a tremendous benefit to the bank and our customers.”

Rood began his internship with the bank’s IT Department in May, assisting with technical support, data analytics and custom workflow programming. In his new role, he will be responsible for learning team member tech support functions and expanding his role and knowledge into systems administration, software development, custom reporting, and several other IT and banking responsibilities.

“I am excited to work at HHSB, it’s a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community,” stated Rood. “It’s exciting to see how the bank works behind the scenes.”

Rood is a 2015 graduate of Southmont High School. He attends Purdue University and plans to graduate with a degree in Information Technology. He is the son of Harvey and Anna Rood, Crawfordsville.
