Smaltz celebrates 15 years at HHSB

Trent Smaltz, vice president/chief lending officer at Hoosier Heartland State Bank, is celebrating 15 years at the bank.

Smaltz is a 23-year banking veteran. He began his career with Hoosier Heartland State Bank in 2004 as director of business development before being promoted to vice president/chief lending officer. He currently serves on the executive committee and senior leadership team. Prior to working for HHSB, he worked as a commercial lender for Isabella Bank and Trust in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, and served on the Michigan Bankers Association board of directors.

15 years.”

Cindy have been married for 22 years. They reside in Ladoga with their three children, Hannah, Abigail and John.

Smaltz enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time with family and listening to music. He also serves on the board for the Boys & Girls Club of Montgomery County, Montgomery County Community Foundation grant committee and Ladoga/Clark Township Library Board.
