Crews are on the scene of an overturned fuel tanker in the westbound lane of Interstate 74 near exit 34. The single-vehicle crash Tuesday has caused traffic to be re-routed through Crawfordsville. The driver of the tanker suffered minor injuries.
The tanker was carrying 7,000 to 8,000 gallons of fuel and was leaking. Agencies responding to the scene include the Crawfordsville Fire Department, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Indiana State Police, Emergency Management Agency, Indiana Department of Environmental Management and Wilson's Towing.
