Stars pick up sweep of Chargers
North Montgomery swimming had their home opener and season opener for the boys on Tuesday as the Chargers welcomed Sagamore Conference foe Western Boone. The girls competed with the Stars in a close meet but fell 98-87. Picking up wins for the Charger girls were Annabel Anderson, Brooklyn Kerns, Kylie Sankey, and Katelyn Woolwine.
The Charger boys fell 112-57 with Jamason Burget, Avery Wright, Dusty Robinson, and Alex Wray picking up wins.
The Girls fall to 3-1 with the boys beginning their seaon 0-1. North will be back in the pool next Tuesday when they travel to Frankfort.

Chargers defeat Mustangs on mat
North Montgomery wrestling continued it’s strong start to their season on Tuesday when they hosted Fountain Central and came away with a 42-34 win.
The Chargers picked up wins at 152 from Jayden Thompson, 160 from Gage Galloway and also at 170, 182, and 195. Dylan Braun also picked up a win for the Chargers at 285.
North improves to 4-1 overall on the season and they will be back on the mats next Saturday when they travel to compete in the WeBo Duals.
