The Montgomery County Health Department has been notified of a sixth confirmed case of COVID-19 in a Montgomery County resident.
Through contact investigations conducted by health department staff, it was previously determined the first three confirmed cases attended the same private event on March 15. The health department has since determined that two other confirmed cases are also linked to the March 15 private event. The quarantine period for those who were exposed at the March 15 event, and who have remained healthy, will expire Sunday, March 29.
The Montgomery County Health Department would like to reinforce the importance of social distancing at this time while also practicing proper hygiene, such as covering your cough/sneeze and washing your hands.
