Jessie Bradley

Jessie Bradley is current reigning Miss Montgomery County and is excited to use this opportunity to support the youth of Montgomery County through both 4-H and the Youth Service Bureau.

Bradley is a full-time student at Purdue University studying atmospheric science and communication on the road to becoming a broadcast meteorologist and has lived her entire life on the family farm east of Ladoga. She currently serves as a board member for the Volunteers for Mental Health Montgomery County and attends Whitesville Christian Church. Dancing has been a staple in her life since her parents signed her up for classes starting at age five. Since then, she found a home at Dance by Deborah and appreciates everything Deborah and her dance family has given her. At Purdue, she is a dancer in the Higher Ground Dance Company whose mission is to support the Andrea Rizzo Foundation’s pediatric dance therapy program.

She is so thankful for her parents, Pam and Brian, and brother Will who support every one of her endeavors both in Montgomery County and at Purdue. Her dad encouraged her to reach out to the YSB and become the first county fair queen to dance in Dancing with the Montgomery County Stars.

“The YSB houses many life-changing programs for Montgomery County youth and I am so honored with the opportunity to support this amazing organization,” she said. “Come support my partner, Ashley Clute, and me as we dance to raise money for the kids of Montgomery County.”

Ashley Clute

Ashley Clute and is a cosmetologist in Greencastle at The Studio Suite. She has lived in Montgomery County for seven years. In her spare time, she likes to work out with her crossfit family, read and attend Wabash College baseball games. Her husband, Jake Martin, is the head baseball coach at Wabash College.

They have been together almost 10 years but are newly wed. She has a daughter, Chelsea, who is a junior at DePauw University and is studying psychology. Her step-daughter, Maddie, an extremely talented competitive dancer, will be entering high school next year.

Clute has been dancing since the age of six. She danced competitively for Dance Workshop for about eight years. She found herself back on the dance floor 12 years ago when she was asked to be a pro for the Putnam County DWTS. Clute fell in love with the event and was ecstatic to be able to be a part of the same event in Montgomery County when she moved here.

Latin music is her favorite genre to dance to.

“There is no better style to get your feet and hips moving,” she said.

Clute decided to participate in this fundraiser because she gets to do something she absolutely loves while supporting a great cause. It’s a win-win for her.

“I encourage people to come to this event because you will feel good about supporting the youth of Montgomery County while having a really fun experience,” Clute said. “I’m excited to have a female partner this year and do something a little different. We won’t disappoint!”
