Ann H. (Hershberger) Alexander, 63, of Hillsboro passed away at 10:17 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, in St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital, following an extended illness.

Ann was born March 28, 1957, at Williamsport, the daughter of the late James Morris and Marilyn (Daugherty) Hershberger. She was raised in Hillsboro, graduating from Fountain Central High School in 1975. She did live for a short time in Covington, before moving back to Hillsboro.

Ann formerly worked as the office manager for Warrick Motor Company in Covington from 1988-2018. 

Ann was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts along with catering food to various functions in the community and at home.

She was first married to William E. Potter and was later married to Bret Alexander.

She leaves behind her two sons, J.W. (Andrea) Potter, Covington, and Dane Alexander, Savannah, Georgia; granddaughter Maren Potter, Covington; and two brothers, James Lee (Jan) Hershberger and Joseph B. (Janice) Hershberger, both of Hillsboro.

Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30 at Maus Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31 at the funeral home, with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. All people in attendance will be required to wear face masks and keep social distancing.
