Crawfordsville boys and girls basketball were in action on Saturday. The Lady Athenians traveled to Danville for a matchup against the high-powered Warriors. Danville dominated all afternoon long ans came away with a 75-29 win over the Athenians. CHS falls to 2-6 (0-2 SAC) on the season and returns to action on Tuesday when they hit the road again for a matchup against South Putnam.
The Athenian boys were also on the road Saturday night as they traveled to Benton Central for a game vs the Bison. After a competitive three quarters with the score favoring BC 50-45, CHS faltered in the final eight minutes scoring just a single point as the Bison came away with a 66-46 win. Crawfordsville falls to 1-1 on the year and will be back in action on Friday when they welcome SAC rival Lebanon for a girl/boy double-header.
