Barbara Jean Baldauf passed away peacefully at Brooke Knoll Village on Monday, April 12, 2021.
She was born in Indianapolis on July 15, 1937.
Barbara spent her career working in the travel industry. She worked for several airlines in New York City for five years after which she returned to Indianapolis to begin working as a travel agent. Working in the travel industry afforded her the opportunity to travel the world.
Barbara lived nearly 50 years in Crawfordsville, 47 of those years were spent at Lake Holiday. She belonged to St. Bernard Catholic Church, Crawfordsville, where she was active in several organizations.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Verne and Beatrice Baldauf; sister Nancy Lasiter; brothers-in-law, Leon Lasiter and Bill Warren; and nephew Jeff Lasiter.
She is survived by brothers, James (Denise) Baldauf and Thomas (Sandy) Baldauf; sisters, Linda (Joe) Arnot and Susan Warren; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements will be handled by Conkle Funeral Home, 4925 W. 16th St., Speedway. A funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 16 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th St., Speedway. Visitation will precede the mass at 10 a.m. with entombment following at Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis.
