Athenians lose late lead
The Crawfordsville baseball team fell to Benton Central 6-3 on Friday night after leading 3-0.
The Bison tagged the Athenians for six runs in the top half of the sixth — only one of which was an earned run as Benton Central took advantage of three Crawfordsville errors in the game.
Henry Taylor and Cale Coursey each had hits and RBI for the Athenians.
Mustangs fall to Tigers
The Fountain Central baseball team lost to Lebanon 12-1 on Friday.
Prickett, Guerin, Acton, Yager, and Eberly each had hits for the Mustangs in the loss.
