Beverly Jo Bell, 60, of Crawfordsville passed away Monday, Aug. 3, 2020, at Franciscan Health in Crawfordsville.
She was born Aug. 15, 1959, at Crawfordsville, to the late Harold Scaggs and Norma (Newlin) Dinius.
Beverly attended Crawfordsville High School and on July 26, 1986, she married Fred Bell, who preceded her in death Dec. 23, 2008. Throughout the years she was a painter for Wilson Painting and worked in the paint and flooring department at Home Depot. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, watching NASCAR, playing Bingo, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
She is survived by daughter Jackie (Kevin) Stephenson; son JD (Kim Brogan) Todd; three brothers, Tommy (Barb) Scaggs, David (Anna) Scaggs and Terry (Becky) Scaggs; three sisters, Donna Hayworth, Debbie (Robert) Beck and Carol Northcutt; several step-brothers and sisters; four grandchildren, Samatha (Phil) Fields, Balie Moore, Mickenzie Todd and Jaycee Todd; and five great-grandchildren, Phil, Zeagan, Zoey, Olivia and Mary Jane; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Fred; brother Robert Fairfield; and two sisters, Sheila Harvey and Sharon Utterback.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral servicea at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7 at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville Pastor Tony Raley will officiate. The service will be live-streamed and recorded, which can be viewed on Beverly’s obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.
