Members of the Crawfordsville Board of Public Works and Safety approved a six-month lease extension agreement between the city and PNC Bank on Wednesday. The extension gives the bank additional time for its relocation plans.
In other business, the board::
• Approved a request by Price Excavating to close Lane Avenue to replace a fire hydrant on a date to be determined between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
• Approved a request made by Anderson Partners to use four parking spaces in the metered lot on the corner of Main & Water Street until Dec. 27.
• Reviewed quotes from Price Excavating and Busse’s Excavating for drainage work on Hamilton Street. The city approved Price’s bid to not exceed $16,000.
• Approved surplus items from the Crawfordsville Street Department including an old cabinet and a 5x8 utility trailer, the trailer was transferred to the Parks and Recreation Department.
