BRIDGETON — The annual Bridgeton Country Christmas celebration will take place over two weekends — Friday through Sunday and Dec. 6-8. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
The 1878 Barn, the Artisans Barn at the Mill, Collom’s Store, the shacks in front of Dr. Crooks’ building and the Old Bridgeton School will be filled with vendors.
Shop at the 1878 House, 1822 Case Log Cabin, Old Ford Garage, Old Barn New, Ye Old Covered Bridge Shop, the Bridgeton Mill, Collom’s Store, the Yellow Barn Door and the Bridgeton Country Store for gifts, antiques, and handmade crafts. Listen to live Christmas music with Bill Robison and his dulcimer in the 1878 Barn.
Enjoy a chicken and noodles dinner at Collom’s Store. Visit the Mill for hot food, baked goods and organic stone ground products, and don’t miss Santa at the 1822 Log Cabin 1-3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Soak up a little of that small town Christmas spirit while you enjoy the lights and decorations in the historic district. There’s no admission and free parking.
Take a scenic drive through hills and valleys in beautiful southern Parke County. Bridgeton is located in nine miles south of Rockville, or take State Road 59 North from Brazil to the Bridgeton highway sign, or travel east of Rosedale eight miles.
