Crawfordsville senior Tristen Bronaugh will continue his track and field career next year at Manchester University.

After suffering an injury during his junior year, Bronaugh missed his entire junior track and field season, and is ready to make up for lost time.

“After my soccer season my junior year I got injured,” he said. “And usually after an injury like that people want to give up, but it just made me want to go more. After missing my junior year I feel like I have a lot to make up, and to just continue on.”

Bronaugh said he has talked with friends that compete at the next level, and felt comfortable with Manchester after a college visit.

“I have a friend who does track in college and talks about how fun it is and staying in shape, and I feel like I can do that too,” he said. “The visit and the coaching staff was very nice, and they reached out to me and I felt comfortable.”

Entering his senior season, Bronaugh hopes to set personal records in the 200 and 400, which are events, along with the 4X400 relay that he hopes to compete in during college. The senior plans to study computer and software engineering at Manchester in the fall.
