Crawfordsville junior Macy Bruton set the all-time county record for kills in the Athenians 3-0 (26-24, 25-20, 25-18) win at Clinton Prairie on Monday.
Bruton had 20 kills to birng her career mark to 1,445 — surpassing Southmont’s Lexi Nelson mark of 1,433 that was set in 2019.
Shea Williamson also had 13 digs, eight kills, three assists and an ace, while Halle Elliott had 14 digs and two aces and Alyx Bannon two kills and two blocks.
Bruton also had 12 digs and two aces, and Olivia Reed seven digs and four aces.
Laine Schlicher had 29 assists and three kills and an ace. Hallie Gayler had seven kills and Liddy McCarty three digs and a kill.
