Carol Ann (Kropiwnicki) Holland, 76, of Pendleton passed away Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020, at AMG Specialty Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana.
She was born Oct. 23, 1943, to the late Stanley and Anna (Drabinowicz) Kropiwnicki in Boston, Massachusetts. She married Glenn Holland on Nov. 23, 1971, at Roachdale.
Upon graduating from high school, Carol attended State College at Boston where she graduated magna cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in mathematics. She taught at Malden Public School for a few years before moving to Indiana. She enjoyed reading, gardening, genealogy and her dogs, Monty and Shannon.
She is survived by her loving children, Dan Holland, Cate Holland and Susan (Lance) Ferryman; grandson Anthony Holland; siblings, Thomas Kropiwnicki and Janine Michalski; aunt Laura Yanofsky; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Glenn.
There will be a private graveside service for the family. Servies & Morgan Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
