Catapult workshop slated Saturday at Carnegie Museum

Posted

Visit the Carnegie Museum at 3 p.m. Saturday for a one-hour workshop on the physics of catapults with the Wabash College Physics Department. Learn how catapults work, how to build them, and see different designs in action to compare. You can even build your own small catapult to take home and get ideas for how to build a bigger version for the first ever Strawberry Launching Contest planned for this year’s Strawberry Festival.

This workshop is free and open to all ages. No pre-registration required, but arrive before 3 p.m.

The Carnegie Museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Admission to the Carnegie Museum is free, and the building is wheelchair and stroller accessible
