A graduation ceremony took place Monday in the council chambers of the City Building for the 2024 Crawfordsville Fire Department Recruits. Remarks were given by Chief Scott Busenbark, Deputy Chief Paul Miller and Mayor Todd Barton. Captain Bryan Shaw presented certificates to the graduates. Family members or mentors then participated in a pinning ceremony with each graduate before they were sworn into duty. The graduates are, from left, Charles J. Sorenson, Evan M. Shipman, Hannah R. Nolan, Trevor J. McKinney, Abigia G. Jones, Jacob P. Finchum and Omar A. Bahlool.
