Chargers split with Warriors and Tiger Cubs in pool, Mounties fall
The North Montgomery girls’ swimming and diving team opened the season with a three-way meet against Danville and Greencastle on Tuesday night. Greencastle defeated North Montgomery 105-71, while the Chargers defeated Danville 109-55.
Sidney Campbell took home the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:08.9, and the 100 butterfly in 1:06.73. The Chargers foursome of Maggie Michael, Madelynn Mershon, Gracen Schwabe and Campbell also won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:55.7.
At Southmont — the Mounties opened the season with a 98-88 loss to McCutcheon.
