North Montgomery finished in second place out of 13 teams at the Mountie Invite played at the Crawfordsville Country Club on Saturday.
Charger senior Neal Jeffery was the medalist of the match shooting a 72. Jeffery shot a 38 on the front nine and tied a school record 34 on the back nine.
Other Charger scores, which totaled 327, were Rohen Barnes 83, Kelby Harwood 86, Beckett Martin 86 and Connor Koopman 89.
Southmont No. 1 team shot a score of 346 which was good for eighth place Austin Foley led the Mounties with a 79. Other Southmont scores were Cole Rhoads shot a 96, Ethan Hutchison 88, Carter Ludlow 83 and C. Walls 115.
Crawfordsville shot a 362 which placed them in ninth. Scores for the Athenians were Tanner Gilliland 83, Jude Hurt 96, Caiden Murray 91, Owen Pierce 92 and Colten Custer 97.
Fountain Central finished with a score of 406 for 10th place. Leading the way for the Mustangs was Eli Foxworthy who shot a 96. Other Fountain Central scores were Will Armstrong, Aiden Blankenship, Chad Willoughby and Aaron Donaldson.
Southmont’s No. 2 team shot a combined 451 which placed them 12th. Mountie scores were Hunter Thompson 117, Owen McCutchan 114, D Cottrell 115, K Charles 105 and Lane Slavens 118.
