Mount Zion United Methodist Church, 2131 Black Creek Valley Road, will celebrate the coming of Advent during the next four Sundays, beginning Nov. 27. The church will be decorated for the Christmas season during the regular morning worship at 9:30 a.m.
There will be special music each Sunday, including a piano and organ duet featuring Janice Emmert and Rosemarie Hutcheson. Several soloists are scheduled with Barb Ferling, Janice and Dean Emmert, Anita Horn Carpenter, Sheila Horn Truncellito and Pastor Warren and Shirley Stewart being part of the programs.
The congregation will assist in the reading and decorating.
Advent will culminate on Dec. 24 with a candlelight service at 6 p.m.
