Club won't be selling trees

For more than 40 years, families from the community have kicked started the holiday season by purchasing a Christmas tree from the Boys & Girls Club of Montgomery County. Unfortunately, due to a nationwide shortage of Christmas trees, the club will not be selling trees this year.

Tree sales was the club’s oldest fundraising event. It has raised thousands of dollars annually for the club, with proceeds assisting the programs and operations. Purchaing a tree from the club also has been a tradition for many area families.

The loss of the tree sale will impact the club’s funding, said Craig Reeves, executive director.

To continue supporting the club and its programs, send a contribution directly to the Boys & Girls Club of Montgomery County, P.O. Box 292, Crawfordsville, IN 47933. To contact the club, call 765-362-8912 or look for the donation button on the club’s Facebook page.
