Colton Daniel Tignor, 23, of Wingate passed away at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, in his home, surrounded by family, following a lengthy battle with glioblastoma.

Colton was born June 1, 1998, at Lafayette, son of Robert  D. “Pugger” Jr. and Dannielle M. Dexter Tignor. They survive. He was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma when he was 9 years old.

Colton had attended Harrison High School. He enjoyed RC Cars, baseball, basketball, football, target shooting, video games, playing guitar and working on cars. Colton was a very kind guy! He was a fighter who never gave up and loved it when people under-estimated him. He was a dear friend to many and his death will leave a hole in many hearts.

Surviving, along with his parents, Pugger and Dannielle are, brother Cody (Chloee) Fetterhoff of North Salem; nephews, Jacob Fetterhoff and Eli Miles; grandparents, Peggy Harrison of Lafayette and Dan and Jacquie Dexter of West Lafayette; great-grandmother Mary Ellen Richardson of Lafayette; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation hours are 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25 at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate, with funeral services following at 4 p.m., with Pastor Sue Spurlin officiating.
