Conkright will celebrate 35 years at Lakeside

Eric Conkright will celebrate his 35th anniversary with Lakeside Book Company on Aug. 25. He began his long standing career Aug. 25, 1987. Over the years, Conkright has had many different roles; Gather Machine Feeder, Smyth Sewer Operator, Tipper Stripper Operator, Associate Artworker, Artworker, Electronic Desktop Operator, 4-Color Digital Press Operator, Electronic Team Lead, Six Sigma Greenbelt, Training Coordinator and his current role as Technical Services Analyst and a Lakeside Prepress Customer Training Specialist for the Onboarding Team.

Conkright is also a member of the Lakeside Quality Team, Inclusion Council and is a Webmaster for the Lakeside Club. He has also worked with our Human Resources Department during job fairs and Hiring Events. He has filled in as a Supervisor over Prepress, Platemaking and the Digital Module. Also, assisted with the COMN (AS400) installation, taught Apprenticeship and ESL classes with having completed two Apprenticeship classes and has received two Journeyman cards. Eric is also cross-trained in our Customer Service Department.

When Conkright isn’t hard at work, he enjoys woodworking, gardening, plant and mushroom identification and foraging, rock hounding, listening to music, antiquing, hiking and spending time with his family. He and his wife Sherry are the parents of Caleb Conkright, Courtney Conkright, Kevin Bretney and Kerry Paris, and have 13 grandchildren. Conkright also enjoys spending time with his church family of Woodland Heights Christian Church.
