Connie Jo Gaviola, 72, of Crawfordsville passed away peacefully Sunday, April 19, 2020, in her home, surrounded by her husband, sister, children, grandchildren and grand-dogs.
She was born April 8, 1948, at Lafayette. Connie married Norman Gaviola, her lifelong partner of more than 50 years, on Sept. 21, 1968.
Connie graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1966. She subsequently attended Indiana State University and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. She was an avid sports fan, enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.
She is survived by her husband, Severino Norman Gaviola of Crawfordsville; son Kayle (Melissa) Gaviola of Avon; daughter Nicole (Dan) Harmeson of Lafayette; daughter Belinda Gaviola of Avon; son Troy Gaviola of Avon; two brothers; one sister; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
A private service was held in the family home at the time of death.
There will be a public service to celebrate her life planned for a later date.
