Just in time for Halloween, a costume sale is planned at the Vanity Theater, 120 S. Washington St. The community is welcome through the annex doors. Patrons can dip into the costume history of Sugar Creek Players productions and add one-of-a kind pieces to their own holiday costumes or wardrobes.
The sale will take 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the theater. Offerings range from wedding dresses to grass skirts, prom dresses, a Dorothy dress, suit pieces, octopus tentacles, vintage children’s clothing, and much more — not to mention buckets of material, shoes, hats and other unique accessories. Most pieces are $2 and everything must go.
