Legends, Lore and Hauntings is hosting a paranormal convention 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Crawfordsville Armory.
This will be the first time an event like this will be held in Crawfordsville, and it’s just in time for spooky season.
Chris Hunt, founder of Legends, Lore and Hauntings, said several speakers and vendors will be in attendance at the event. Among them will be hosts of two podcasts produced in Indiana, Tinfoil Tales and Hoosier Myths and Legends discussing their platforms and things they’ve learned about the paranormal.
There will be paranormal investigative teams speaking about their adventures and expertise along with sensitives (also known as mediums) set up at tables to do readings.
Hunt said there will be many different types of paranormal topics discussed, not just ghosts.
MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network will be there to discuss UFOs and other extraterrestrial paranormal subjects.
The convention will offer opportunities for people to speak with experts about paranormal sightings they’ve had.
Besides speakers, there will be paranormal and spooky themed merchandise that can be purchased as well as treats. Regular activities will all be free. There is no admission charge. The armory is located at 1405 S. Washington St.
