Local Girl Scout Troop #57078 teamed up with AARP to spread some love and cheer to older Americans who have been socially isolated during the pandemic. The girls lovingly produced handmade cards to safely deliver to each Meals on Wheels recipient. They are part of a national service project, “Cupid’s Crew 2021.” Troop leaders are Paula Dodd, Kathleen Novak, Jill Pettit and Ann Taylor. Because of the pandemic, this troop has had to meet on Zoom. Recently the troop was joined by a national representative who is in charge of the partnership. On Friday, Meals on Wheels drivers delivered the Valentine’s cards to the clients.
