Dallas Roberts of Crawfordsville passed away Sunday morning, Jan. 29, 2023, at Franciscan Health of Lafayette. He was 80.
Dallas worked at RR Donnelley for over 40 years, retiring in Nov. 2007. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Crossroads Community Church of the Nazarene. He was an avid car enthusiast that collected hot rod magazines.
Born Oct. 23, 1942, at Crawfordsville, he was the son of Raymond S. Roberts and Bertha M. Cope Roberts. He attended Crawfordsville schools. He married Sandra K. Smith in 1967. She survives.
Surviving family includes: wife Sandra Roberts of Crawfordsville; sister Connie Grater; and several members of his extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Bryan Ray Roberts; and infant sister Patricia.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Ave. Services will begin with military rites at 1 p.m., after which Pastor Mark Roberts will officiate. Following the service he will be laid to rest at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.
