David Alan VanSickle, 57, of Roachdale went to his Heavenly home July 22, 2022.
He was born April 2, 1965, at Greencastle, to David R. and Loretta (Ray) VanSickle. He was married to Nanetta “Jo” (Knowling) VanSickle, and she survives.
David attended North Putnam High School as well as Roachdale Baptist Academy. He was a member of Roachdale Baptist Church since 1975 and served as a trustee. David worked for Maxim Crane Works LP for over 20 years, known as the crawler crane “Legend.” He enjoyed traveling, his family, livestock, socializing, working, grandkids and his dog Ollie.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are wife Jo VanSickle; daughter Logan (Gage) Zeller; grandson Easton and Baby Zeller due in December; parents David and Loretta VanSickle; sister Carol (Shannon) Ivers; brother Bob (Amiee) VanSickle; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Sam and Maxine VanSickle and maternal grandparents Ralph and Mary Ray.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 29 at Roachdale, Baptist Church, 10 Lonoke St., Roachdale, with Pastor Seth Amos officiating. Visitation will take place 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 28 at the church. Servies & Morgan Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
