VEEDERSBURG — Fountain Central High School has announced that Bryson Alan Davis will lead the Class of 2025 as valedictorian and Katielynn Michelle Wadhams is the salutatorian. Commencement exercises are at 7 p.m. today in the high school gymnasium.
Davis is the son of Jason and Danette Davis. He is a member of Sterling Christian Church, National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is 10-year 4-H member.
His school activities include: four-year varsity wrestler with two team leader awards; four-year varsity baseball player; three-year member of Spanish Club; two-year FFA member; two years as cross country manager; two years Mathematics Academic Bowl; one year Social Studies Academic Bowl; one year girls wrestling manager; and one year varsity football player.
His other memberships include Brothers Keepers Accountability Group and Sterling Christian Church Youth Group.
His academic achievements include: graduating with Academic Honors; Presidential Award for Educational Excellence; President of National Honor Society; two years class representative for Spanish Club; and state qualifier Mathematics Academic Bowl.
Davis plans to attend Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri to major in Biblical communications.
Wadhams is the daughter of Troy and Crystal Wadhams of Newtown.
While in high school, she has been a member of drama club for two years, as well as band for four years. During her time in the band she received a Most Improved Musician award, two Outstanding Musician awards, the John Phillip Sousa award and the Semper Fidelis Award for Musical Excellence from the Unites States Marines Youth Foundation.
She currently works as a daycare teacher, but plans to pursue a degree in youth ministry.
