Deborah Leann (Clem) Cotten, 60, of Marshall and formerly of Yeddo, peacefully passed to Heaven on Friday, Dec. 25, 2020.

She was born May 18, 1960, at Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Albert Clem and Susan Grady. 

She graduated from Covington High School after which she married Thomas Wesley Cotten Sr. on March 31, 1979.  Thomas and Deborah lived in Yeddo, where they raised their two children, Thomas Wesley Cotten Jr. and Timothy Wayne Cotten. Deborah drove school bus for many years for Southeast Fountain and Covington schools. She enjoyed cooking and baking for the family and spending time with her grandkids. 

She is survived by mother Susan Grady of Covington; husband Thomas W. Cotten of Marshall; children, Thomas Jr. (Sarah) Cotten and Timothy (Ginger) Cotten, both of Parke County; mother-in-law Rita Cotten of Yeddo; grandchildren, Kandyse, Robert, Savannah and Leland Cotten of Parke County and Jaythan Cotten of Yeddo; half-sisters, Jennifer Grady of Rockville and Louisa Elliot of Covington; brothers-in-law, David, Phillip, Bill, Dwayne and Todd; sisters-in-law, Brenda, Rita Anne, Kim, Tina and Terri; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by father Albert Clem; step-father Jerry Grady; father-in-law Robert Cotten Sr.; aunt Janet Clark; and sister Kelly Sue. 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30 at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S. First St., Kingman. Pastor Bob Cruea will officiate. Burial will follow at Centennial Cemetery. The service will be live-streamed and recorded which can be viewed on Deborah’s obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com. Social distancing is expected and masks are required.
