Debra Lynne (Addler) Smith, 63, Attica and formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away unexpectedly at 1:35 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024, at her home in Attica.
Debra was born Oct. 18, 1961, at Crawfordsville. She was the daughter of the late Jackie William and Marjorie Ann (Bruton) Addler. Debra was raised in Crawfordsville and attended school at Crawfordsville High School. She has resided in Attica for the past four years.
People who knew Debra, knew she was a social butterfly. Working at Harrison Steel Castings Company and later as a clerk at Super Test gas station in Attica, she acquired many friendships. Her recent employment with Pizza King gathered new found friends. She loved to play bingo, especially on Thursday Nights at the Attica American Legion. She loved her family and her neighboring adoptive children in the area. She especially enjoyed her fury family of dogs and a cat.
Debra leaves behind daughter Tiffany Smith, Attica; step-children, Richelle (Rick) Harkrider, Waynetown, Shannon (Julio) Lopez, Hillsboro, Harold Edward (Rachel) Smith III, Waveland, Jessica (José) Diaz, Kingman, and Isaac (Brandle) Smith, Crawfordsville; two sisters, Shelley Jones and Jackie Douglas, both of Crawfordsville; brother Steve Addler, Russellville; nieces Brandy Purcell and Briana Cox; and nephews Chris Hinkle, Joshua Jones, Emmett Jones, Jarson Rater and Kyrin Cox.
She was preceded in death by step-daughter Michelle Harvey.
Friends may gather at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 4 p.m. until the memorial service time at 6 p.m.
