Organizers of the 2022 Downtown Crawfordsville Holiday Window Decorating Contest encourage downtown businesses to bring the spirit this season.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top two businesses in each of four categories. First place will receive $200 and second place will receive $100.
Categories include: best overall theme; best “Montgomery County Bicentennial” theme; best small window (less than 40 square feet); and people’s choice. The first three categories will be judged by organizers and the people’s choice will be judged by the public via an online voting portal.
Bicentennial theme ideas might include spotlighting a county event of physical feature, picking a favorite decade from the past 200 years or making your window look like a storefront from days gone by.
No matter where the creativity comes from, organizers remind all participants that they must be registered to be eligible to win.

Online public voting begins Nov. 26 and ends Dec. 15.
