Diana Lynn Yeager of Crawfordsville passed away Saturday night, March 1, 2025, at Franciscan Health of Lafayette.

Mrs. Yeager worked in finance, starting with banking for 10 years, then at the local cable office with Cardinal Communications, and most recently with KPS Construction in Westfield. In the early 90s, she hosted a local TV show on Cardinal Communications called “Our Town.” She took particular pride in a show honoring Montgomery County Veterans. The show is archived at the Carnegie Museum. She enjoyed plants, flowers, gardening, decorating and in her younger days she played women’s softball.

Born March 4, 1955, in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Richard C. Earl and Z. Kathleen “Kathy” (Utterback) Earl Prince. She graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1973. On Aig. 30, 1974, she married Steve Yeager at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Crawfordsville.

Surviving family includes: husband Steve Yeager of Crawfordsville; daughter Crystal Boothby (David); son Scott Yeager (Erin); three grandchildren, Annie Boothby, Maggie Yeager and Cole Yeager; two brothers, John Earl (Joyce) of Virginia and Fred Earl (Carla) of Crawfordsville; and aunt Sharon Earl Larew.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Thursday, March 6 at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Ave. Services will begin at 6 p.m., led by Pastor Peter Wilkinson. A private burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery North at a later date.
